What is this blog?

Hello, This is an introduction page to my India world: here you can find my travelogues and the links to other pages like Photo Album, Personal Web Site (in construction), Guide Books to India, Forums and so on. I would also like to write both in english and in italian but I know that this should be a problem: the blog probably will result too "heavy". I will think about a solution in the future. Everytime it's possible I'll try to put in order the pages with new things!

Where

HOW IT ALL BEGUN / COME TUTTO E' INIZIATO....

1989/1990 - The first time, by chance / La prima volta, per caso.

With Oriana, Alberto, Yuri and Marzia. Since then India has become part of my life. Before I did not know too much: after I wanted to know everything. But I realize that I know very little ....It was mainly an experience of freedom, but it was a brief taste. The world outside is so different. And I am one of those people who would like to know it in all its aspects. However it was really tragicomic my first real trip! Alberto was really mad! Certainly with us was easy. Probably we had so much fear (perhaps awe) to do something wrong and make him "angry" that we hadn't the courage to contradict him in anything. Even when we walked for hours alongside the Ganges without want to understand that it would be enough to turn in a side alley to get off the ghats, the famous stairs where pilgrims bathe. At the end in any case it was very beautiful.

1991/1992 - And now we arrive / E adesso arriviamo noi....

As a matter of fact, shortly after returning finally I realized my dream of love ....( Marzia you remember the nights watching the stars on the beach and dream .....). Me and Mauro were "engaged", and begin our journey together. I plan our great trip for nearly a year .... 47 days ... all together, in India. To go for the first time with him, with the excitement of love and youthful years was beautiful, but also difficult. It's where I started to really know him ... and to grow. I am an accommodating person , I see before the positive side of things: he is the opposite. And in India there are a lot of negative things. In the end, however, we managed. And we are still here.

Lì ho iniziato a conoscerlo veramente ...e a crescere.
E siamo ancora qua.

1997/1998 - Honeymoon! / La luna di miele!

What a dream! Between the first and second trip and this a lot of things happened : my surgery (.... and then his), the beginning of living in Livergnano, restructuring the flat in Gemito Street, the new job. Why get marry? For the Honey Moon! !15 days joined together with Christmas holidays are three weeks in Rajasthan. At the end is never the journey that you expect, but maybe that's why it is so fascinating and every time is so different. And only when you return home and have the "reverse" culture shock you realize what you have really lived. But then you are back at home, don't know if come back and when .... Dedicated to Alberto. From now onwards. Forever.
______________________________________Che sogno!
